Pilates is a whole mind-whole body conditioning routine that helps build lean, strong muscle, flexibility and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back. Emphasis is placed on spinal and pelvic alignment, breath, developing a strong core/center and improving coordination, posture and balance. The Pilates method allows for exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to advanced.

Available Classes:

Group & Private Mat Class is performed in comfortable clothes (preferably not too bulky or loose), socks or barefoot. Each class is an hour long and focuses on body alignment and using the right muscles for the exercises; giving you an overall body workout. Class is mostly be conducted on the floor and will often start and end with standing exercises. Classes can and will be adapted for individuals needs.

Pilates Mat – Rolling Like a Ball

Pilates Reformer Class is performed on STOTT Reformers with a mix of classical and contemporary repertoire. No experience necessary, but no drop-in’s for this class. You must book your session in advance, come 10 minutes early for first class for a consult and to familiarize yourself with the equipment. A private session is recommended (be not mandatory) before joining a group class.
